There is a lot of down time during these days so its not representative of the actual task duration but cannot be avoided. The drawer construction may have been better organised after seeing Dave Stanton's procedure however I don't have an impressive workshop and any Bessy clamps. If your an owner of an old K4 like me you can now see the disadvantage of having the locking handle opposite. These are the eight bases in the process being pocket holed in 12 locations. The assembly was as as per the Kreg making drawers video. Once completed the were sanded and the top edge radiused.
Next came the fittment of the CA slides. I tried to use my Kreg drawer jig but it didn't suit this build and I had to refit and readjust the two bottom slides as well. Once I had all the drawers fitted the cabinet took on quite a bit of extra mass. They all fitted up OK and so I sealed them and stopped work. Next I need to decide on drawer fronts. Not sure what ornate styles I will decide on just yet , I have a 3D carver stashed away somewhere that needs the dust blown off it. Then its add the side panels, back, base and top and it will be completed. I thought I had taken a picture of the four white side panels somewhere but cannot find it
BTW you may have noticed I mentioned using Coarse Kreg screws for Ply and MDF (as per the experts), well a funny thing I could not find 19 mm or 3/4" coarse screws anywhere including on Kreg's site so a technical question has been raised with them regarding the matter.
Damn, so that's how you use a Kreg... I've had one for over 10 years and used it like a hammer... should have realised you don't hammer screws. No wonder their support gave me a hard time.

Read this for info:- Thank you for contacting Kreg. Sorry to say, we only have the 3/4" screws in fine thread. With the specs of the screws on how the threads vs the smooth shaft needs to be, with coarse threads on it, there would only be roughly one thread on there. That would not hold at all. Please let me know if there is anything else I may help you with.
Thanks,

Hello Technical Support I seem to have difficulties buying SPS C075 screws of any qty Does a coarse 19mm or 3/4" screw exist or is it only available as a SPS F075?
Richard Cranium the III here, Yes I did RTFM and there is no mention of coarse 19mm possibly because the dont make the little suckers. And dont make mention of the fact they dont. Not to worry I might get a free3/8 beading bit from them!... if Dave and Stewie can so should I haha!
hey what is with us these days ? we were the stooges, high jacked threads, had fun. now it's just me and the duck ? RC whats up man. you seem so aloof these days ? when i came here and saw you already here ,i thought, how cool man. but you just dont join in anymore ? lets talk ?
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
Its a router bit made by Kreg, and I assume other companies Yonico Whiteide and etc Its part of a two piece set (if your a cheapskate like me) and dont buy the complete jig.
As it happens the Sommerfield Brothers both have a system one router based and the other table saw based. I tried to attach the documentation but it exceeeds the 5Mb limit so continue via the link.
