This is my last project in the park till we leave in  week. It is made from 25 pieces of 1/2" x 1/2" wood.  The center is Acacia, then 8 pieces of Jacaranda, then 16 pieces of pistachio. I'm just using up scraps from previous projects. I was out of projects so I threw this one together.
It finished at 2 1/8" diameter at the top and is 6" tall. I finished the inside with epoxy so it can be used for wine, The outside is finished with EEE and Shellawax.

I helping my friend from Minnesota on a rustic chair that I may post next week. We have to  pour two more surfaces with epoxy before I leave.
Cheers, Jim

Jim, that turning is awesome, especially the captive ring, that feature really catches the eye & exhibits top quality craftsmanship. Great work.
