made these years ago but never posted. rather than a separate post for each one i thought id just do em as a group. the first one is a slice of maple burl. the second is a slice of oregon mrytle wood. the third is a base of purple heart with a oval of oregon mrytlewood. the uprights are a mystery wood from australia i bought on ebay. the last one is a slice of redwood from the northern cali coast. holds a thermometer and barometer. finish on all is just spray on lacquer.

I’ve got a couple sets of clockworks sitting in a box waiting to be made into clocks. I even got a really nice ceramic tile to put on one of them…just need to get off my butt and make it/them.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

thanks steve !

These are cool, there's a few clocks I've been wanting to make, but none like these!

Now thats a 101% better than bowls... why the hell did you stop making them...

One can have too many bowls but not enough cocks.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Great looking clocks, I especially like the Maple burl one. Excellent job !!!

Great use of small natural edge pieces, all look fantastic.
Goodies P!

How are the log cookies holding up (any radial cracking)?

#3 is also a favorite, maybe even rivals the clock Bandit recently built 🤠
Nice Pottz

#2 is my favorite.  Love the design and woods. The floating oval is cool
