Scraps to charcuterie aka cutting boards

I recently cleaned out my valuable scrap wood accumulation. Like most wood workers I hate to throw away pieces that might be useful later but it was getting out of hand. I came up with an assortment of wood types not big enough for much and decided to turn them into Charcuterie boards, aka cutting boards by our colleague  LBD in Australia.  They are about 10.5" long 6.5" wide and 1 to 1.25 inches thick or 17cm by 26cm by 3+cm. To make them easier to pick up I cut rabbets, aka rebates, in the ends then cut an curve on the end on the band saw leaving just the center section of the rabbets and no sharp corners. 
Part of the assortment was the wood in the boards on the left of the picture. They were made from some very old children's maple toy blocks and scraps of walnut. I have had those blocks for over 30 years and never came up with a better use. Now they have a new live.
