The more times I use my GRABO, the more diversified uses I can find for it, consequently I migrated the review I did for it at LJover here. Hopefully the review should cover all bases.
While in the past my emphasis was in using it as a vacuum pump, its primary use is for holding timber/glass/tiles panels and decided it will make a worthy entry into this clamp series of blogs.
Although it has a large overall base profile (290mm x 175mm), it has 4 anchor points that can be utilised to clamp items to the centre of large flat surfaces without markings (like crews etc.). The surface needs to be non-porous, hole-less or at least 12mm+ thick for MDF.
If you do a lot of work whit timber sheet goods, they are invaluable... I've found them great for not so much heavy items but awkwards to grip ones... as long as you have a non-porous flat surface.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
