thats looking fantastic ross !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Still in awe of the colors!
Hope you can settle on a finish that will not cause any bleeding, though the black trim should act as a good barrier.
Anyone who does stained glass has to be so slow and calm. You must have to be very steady and accurate with what you do. My wife did stained glass, so I understand all the time and effort that goes into this work of art. nicely done Ross.
Looks great. You seem to have an above-normal level of patience

Thanks, gents.
Splinter - I'll test some samples when I get to the finishing stage.  If I want to keep the background white, I think I'll need to stick to a waterborne finish.  I has some General Finishes poly on-hand, so it's likely to be that.

Robinhood - I appreciate that, thanks.  I can definitely say that I'm slow.  😁  Not always calm, though.
I just saw this.  Looks like some good reading.  I do something like this but I don't use stain, just different species to make the pattern.  I haven't gotten into curves yet.  I need a CNC or a lot of practice on the jigsaw.
