Whats going on in the Timbermate house Who is Earl and whats with the crown? My latest purchase surprised me with a complete make over on labeling. I need the goss!
Yep correct they are connected somehow ! I actually saw the youtube video on the hardener but cannot find anything else about a Australian family product falling to the mega giants yet. There is definitely a connection though, lets see if Timbermates CEO fesses up about the sneaky change, mind you its still a great product.
Earl's seem to be under the umbrella of Timbermate Group.... who bought who?

BIt of useless information... my laser has "pre-configured" concrete material setting, which hardly makes an impression on the Timbermate filler... I might line my entire shop floor with Timbermate as the 'crete is cracking.

it appears Timbermate the family business has been sepoised by the Giant USA and now become Timbermate Group and its head office in the USA
Timbermate is an interior product where as Earls is a exterior product. so if you thinking of using it on the floor of concrete its the Earls choice of products for that application.
Not sure why you would would spend $ repairing wood with harder when it could be simply replaced wooden fence palings being a case in question.
What do you use yours for? Noting that accidentally spilling some down the front of your smock could be embarrassing! Dave P is a wood hardener guru I think may be he might PU on the blog and add expert knowledge.

Unfortunately, there is no scandalous story to tell you.
We produce quite a few different putties and powders; some had Earl's on the label and some did not. To unify all our products we updated our labels to all have Earl's listed on all of them.
The products are all exactly the same they just got updated labels.
