Vyper Robust steel max chair

Should be more than 5 stars. Heavy duty, very well designed and made. And comfortable.

I saw this on facebook, closed facebook and googled this, bought it the next day.

I'd been using a very old ,yard sale office chair. That chair knew something was up.

I was assembling the new chair on this low bench when the old chair kicked out from under me. My left foot got tangled under the workbench and kept me from getting away. I went backwards and landed on my back, no damage.

Later that day I picked it up to put in the garbage can and the seat back came off. That made it easier for me to get rid of it.

The seat on the chair was missing a nut insert to attach the seat to the bracket as delivered. I sent an email, they sent a new seat. At this time I ordered the Big Boy package. These folks are alright.

With only a few exceptions, to be dealt with later, I can roll through my labyrinth of a workshop in the chair.

This is the quick height adjustment model. They have a big product line. Made in Wisconsin,USA.

thats one hell of a chair hairy. built like a tank. not cheap but should last many years, or decades ?

Certainly has the items that set it apart from the typical office chair. Pricey, but quality costs.
I like the "Big Boy" option for those who like the side support or have gluteus maximus.
It was good without the Big Boy. Now it's gooder.

Nice comfortable resting place... for dust...

Just kidding, looks a helluva lot better than the one I bought for this bum... never sat comfortable and with it's limited adjustment I could barely see over my benchtop... gave mine to another bum.

Still it's a handy heads up and link for people that like to sit in their workshop... I prefer to stand in case I fall asleep at my bandsaw.

yeah i have a stool in my shop office i sit at when on the computer, but otherwise i cant work on a stool or chair !

There is a learning curve. Not something I expect on a chair. Old chair seat swiveled. On this, the seat is stationary, and you move the base.

If I'm going to sit , I'm going to enjoy it.

If I had a shop office, it would have a Lazy Boy.

Nice write up!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

A few more thoughts...

I need a regular parking space. Old chair was happy anywhere. My basement is my shop. Not a level floor anywhere. New chair might not be where I left it,more learning curve left.

Speaking of parking, 2 out of the 5 wheels have locks. You get to choose at assembly.  Suggested option was 1 on each side, I put both in the front.
For what these chairs cost, why not 3 more wheel locks? Plus it would just be a little more better.

That footring is bad ass. Like a barstool on wheels.

Today I removed the Big Boy package. On occasion it's too big . I'll put it away until I grow into it. It's a nice option.

I'm liking it without it right now. I like to sit on a chair backwards, not always, this way is easier and safer.

The footrail functions kinda like a cat's whiskers.

First chair I ever had that made think about chair safety. These folks did.

I'm mainly sitting on this backwards now, with the backrest in front. It's real easy to move around and stand up when necessary. Much easier without the Big Boy package.

This is a great chair!

I wish they made a desk chair for computers. The crap that's on the market is just that. I showed this to my Wife, and she said not in my Kitchen. It does have a very sound industrial look to it, she wants something lovely.... Unnngh.
Send pictures of you and the chair on the floor in a half nelson please.
5 is good, .... that's why we have 5 on each hand

You may need to kick him between the two big toes to get him to the floor!

I must have a big head.
Shoulder to shoulder, and all the way down we line up pretty good.
