WOLF Inflatable Leveling Wedges

Boys and Girls,

Don’t know whether you believe in coincidences, karma, blind luck or just kissed by a Chinaman, but something happened to me while I was looking for hardware for my new “air dogs” (which will be reviewed in another thread later).

While browsing Total Tools, I came across these wedgies … no I didn’t misspell and infer these,
nor are they related to these,
that you may have been either a recipient of or the dreaded perpetrator back in your youth… or even lately by the local bully, which is my excuse for not going to the gym… they are these inflatable levelling gizmos,
that you may have glossed over while browsing through your favourite tool shop.

My immediate thought was all those times I jacked something up (lifted, not buggered up), measured the gap and cut a supporting piece… I bought the 3 pack so I can jack up 3 points before I need to measure and cut.

Here is a very useless quick demo on a loaded up benchtop,
naturally lifting under that one leg, translates to clearance on some of the others,
However, there is the issue that you must still find a 2.6mm gap to slide the wedgie underneath whatever is to be lifted... which I had to do before pushing the wedgie under with my foot. While its max capacity (advertised 70mm) is in the middle, you can slide a corner slightly in, jack that up a few mm to permit another one to be fully inserted underneath to achieve its maximum lifting distance.

Now all I have to do is store it somewhere I will not forget I had it,

For that crap on about karma etc in the opening, stay posted for a follow up “project” (in name and pigeon holing only) of this item in use.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Don't let the wife see them or you're gonna be jacking up the furniture to vacuum underneath everything.

The initial lift to get the bags in place is a common conundrum. Bags look to be about shoe/pink boot sized. Ideal for equalizing one's stance. The longish hosed to the pump balls means you could thread them up the pants legs to a convenient place for a quick squeeze if things go atilt.
