Burl top box
Found a way to use a special piece of bubinga burl, and thought it went well with sapele. The medallion on front is a piece of hobby stainless bonded to maple inlay. Ok I'll find some better hinges but used what had

wow tim that burl is just radiant ! not sure if i care for the medallion though, kinda takes away from the beauty of the wood.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
One sexy Box, love the burl in the top. Have to agree with Pottz about the little medallion though.
