The Indian Credenza replication begins

I used two of the pallet timber stringers to do some preliminary work

Jointed them on the table saw then ripped them in half
Chopped them in half on the drop saw attached the jig set 45 deg and set to work

I needed the jig to  stand them off past the center of the saw blade so I didnt produce depth ramps in the timber
after a couple of cuts I finally adjusted the depth stop set to work.
These are only experimentat test pieces at this stage to gauge the effect.

Initial dimensions were 30mm squares  then I tried 60mm squares.

Cutting parallel edging produced this effect

Checking with the working photographs It should look something like this dimension wise.

then I  made the separating sections.

Looks like it may work on the frame work.
Tthe drawers and doors will be another challenge.

Should this be a part of a blog series?  What are you replicating,

an imperial ruler???

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Do you have to give me curry over it?
Yes if I dont get distracted by urn plugs and wasting time turning 25mm dowel into ferrules!
The heading corrected to explain the Blog series (if it works?)

and no its an imperial bloody rule blog!

Ok, now I see your earlier question on cutting 45's!
Looks like you are using pencil marks as a reference?

Only way I can thing to automate the process would be to shallow-notch your board on its side like one does making finger joints for a box.
These shallow side cuts then could index over a pin in your miter saws fence. Cut the 45's, then rip the notches off the side.
