Picked this guy up for $12.

M. Crannell made planes between 1843 and 1892. However because this is an M. Crannell and not a Bensen & Crannell, we know it can be dated to 1862 to 1892, because the earlier Bensen and Crannell planes date to 1843 to 1862.

This is a normal Roman Ogee that cuts 5/8” wide, 1/2” deep. Perhaps a nice little detail for a box lid or base. Not sure where I will use it yet, but it’s the smallest Ogee I own. Could also be used to raise a 5/8” panel, but might look strange because it’s a symmetrical molding.
