8 Drawer Beaded Face Frame Cupboard Construction #5: BFFC Day 5

I haven't done too much actual work but made some progress.

I have this 3D carver so i brushed off the dust and set it up to do carving on the drawer fronts.

how it works is with a specially modified router bit.
The cone attachment runs around inside the template frame the you flip it and go again, then 180 it twice and continue after four router passes the 'Cascade" drawer pattern appears. By adjusting the cutter depth you can then increase the depth of cut to suit. Now as the cone runs in the template guide if its wider in parts the depth of cut deepens accordingly, all very basic and now overtaken by CNC routers driven by software.
Next was what style and configuration of handles to use.

I  am now mulling over what the final fit will look like
1. Two handles or,
2.  One handle.
I actually thought about  4x single red handles on the left drawers (otherwise known as you know what) and 4 x single green handles on the right drawers, but it would detract from a wide market appeal or females  interest so I am still fiddling about.
I just happen to have a couple of handles so its just a matter of making my mind up which way to go.

What's your thought?

Regards Rob

Don't tell me you've found your wallet?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

No i didnt,... did you by chance?
Now there is a ongoing funny story to enlighten newer members with!

Nah... Even looked under the carpet of the Tardis...  Probably found and spent by The Daleks.

What? those Daleks still exist ... I thought they all would have been exterminated by now!

That jig is neat... who needs a CNC?

With those drawers and handles, why confuse the issue... Just put 4 fronts on each drawer and throw away the handles.
