The "PULSE"

I really liked this feature when you originally created it on your first site.
I wish it could be brought into this site.
It really helps the community converse with each other as comments are made.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Ditto. Though I would settle for the default home page to be “latest” for things instead of “trending.”

May you have the day you deserve!

Pulse was one of the my fave features on LJ. I remember spending nights working on the initial version years ago.

Now that they killed what made LJ unique, it's probably a good time to add it to Craftisian ;)

I have a long list of features to work on. User mentions are on the top of my list right now but Pulse will get high priority too. Thanks for mentioning it.

Glad to hear that you're on board Martin. I was hoping we'd get a positive reaction from you.
There were quite a few features on LJ's that made it the best woodworking site out there...feel free to duplicate as many as you can.
I know personally I'm not looking for a carbon copy of LJ's...that ship has sailed. But work the same magic you did before and make it feel like home ;)
Looking forward to the future!

If you’re taking feature requests, Martin, I liked the Workshops section of LJ’s. Seems like it would be an easy one to put up. I know it’s lower on the needs-list, but I think it’s a neat feature.

Let's make it feel like home, Tony. Agreed!

Ryan, that's a great idea. I think this is the right time to bring Workshops to CS. Thanks.

Hi Guys, looking for some help please.
At the ripe old age of 81 I have now stopped my woodworking at Badger Woodcrafters and wish to remove my membership of Craftisian. The problem being that I cant find out how to do this. Can anyone please help. TI thought all membership organisations were required to have a cancellation point on the site?  If anyone can do ths for me I would appreciate it. Best wishes to all. Nice to see so many familiar faces here.  Yeah, the Pulse feature was what I used all the time.

Maybe also consider a section for tool REVIEWS? I always like that part of the other site.

scroll down and you'll see a list of features.there is a tool review but it's not broken down into catagories. looks like maybe just in order as they were posted.last one was a couple years ago ?

Bill...you'll have to post a picture of your dog to verify your identity ;)
Ah, didn’t see that Tool Review section. It’s not on the top banner. That might help it get traffic…just saying!

That said, I’m not seeing how to add a tool review.

When I select the notification bell next to my avatar, I’m now getting a blank page. Seems to be a glitch as it was working earlier. The bell says I have 1 waiting notification….

OK Barb.  Hot off the press ;P

Ok.  Identity verified.  :)
And, sure love your work space!  (Trying hard not to be a little jealous)
The workshop section would be good, allows us to drool over them, and it would be neat if you can make updates bringing it back to the top of the list. Thanks for all you are doing here Martin.

Welcome Bill.
