On LJ’s I just clicked on “quote” in the selected post. How do I do it here?

I don’t think this site has it. At least I have not seen it in action.

What most people do is copy by starting at the person's name right above the message and drag down into the message box.  Then go down to the message you doing, hit the quote button and paste it in.  Hit enter key twice the end quote.

I think that there are plans to add a better quote function at some point.

Click on the quote icon above

Highlight the text you want to quote, right click and copy

Right click and paste where you want it

I do Copy and Paste using Quotes.
If you use the quote button you’ll get the vertical grey bar as part of your post, which accents it to show you’re quoting someone else. As stated above, if you include the original posters name as part of what you copy it makes it clear who made the original post.
