Bentlyj was someone that stood up for quality, and dignity, and integrity !!!! and yet we failed him ! he was againts fraud and phony people that drug our forum down, not brought it up to his higher standard ! yet no one stood with him, why ? ill say i did and still do and have begged him to rejoin us ! but i know my wishes wont be enough ? he doesnt have or wont the time to deal with this crap anymore. and i ask myself, why do i  bother to continue with the fight ? why do any of you ?  for me it's because it's worth every word i type ! i wont give in, not yet at least ! but it's getting close by the day. we have no moderator here so we are the moderators ! so let those that we dont want know enough is enough !!!! it's our forum  so take control !! many think i control this place, please wake up, i have no more power than any ones words have here. so use your words and make a difference for gods sake !!!! many her have been called trolls, including myself. many that have said that are no better than those the have called us out ! peace all !

Unfortunately the lack of involvement from Martin or any other form of moderation means we can't do anything about it but ignore and bore them I guess 😑 .  Would love to see Bent come back, I enjoyed his work, but I get his decision

Pottz,

I still think the best course of action is to ignore the agitator.  I also woul like to see Bently back.

Sorry I think I missed a something.  I haven't been all that active in a while. Life has kept me out of the shop more than I would like.  I always valued Bentlyj's contributions. I am sorry to hear others were able to drive him off.
Agree Bently was a positive.   Agree with ignoring agitators.

yes swirt bently has left the forum and deleted all his projects. he's been trying to get martin to remove him completely but he wont do it. he's a good friend and i stay in touch with him. i wish i could convince him to stay but i respect why he's leaving. it's a loss for all of us.

I think when someone draws a line in the sand, we honor it and him.  The issue has clearly not been resolved and there is no reason in his mind to return...you have to respect that.
Bently is a craftsman that has very little equal...and he will be missed....but lets respect his feelings.  He has set his boundaries and they have been violated, time to let it go.  Ignore the violator and respect Mr Bent.
