Fun with AI

Just for fun I took a rubbish photo of myself in my workshop today and uploaded it to Google Gemini's Create Image app on my laptop. Here's that photo.

Well I did say it was crap. LOL.

I then asked Gemini to create a caricature version of my photo. I did a few retries of this question too and here are the results.

I then asked it to create an impressionist version of my photo.

then an oil painting version

then an abstract version

then a charcoal drawing version

then a pastel drawing version

Crazy right? I thought it would be fun to see what AI images you can come up with of you in your workshop, or maybe one of your projects if you like. Have some fun with it and share your images.

This is pretty interesting, good way to have a little fun. I'll try this using my grandkids pics, might amuse them. Thanks for posting.
I like the brainiac alien head version (5th photo) but gotta go with "WorkshopMaster", very fitting!
You're welcome. It amused me, but then I'm easily amused these days.

Vectric, whose software for CNC is widely used to create and machine 2D and 3D carvings just released an AI based tool call Easy Create for creating 3D models that can be carved on a CNC.  I think that you can save them as an STL so you could also 3D print them.   You buy 200 credits for $20 and I think that  cost comes out to about  about 50 cents per ready to carve model.   You describe what you want and it comes up with a model.  You can similarly provide  a photo and it will create a 3D model you can carve on the CNC.  You can give it instructions such as removing background or making parts of it less detailed.  I have not tried it yet but some of the examples I have seen are pretty impressive.  it does a pretty good job of handling faces as long as there are not too many faces in the photo you give it to convert.  If you have more than about 5 or 6 faces, everyone starts looking like aliens wearing human masks.  The more faces, the worse it gets.    I sure that they will improve that as time goes on.
