Chrysalis Time
Eight of our Monarch Caterpillars have made Chrysalis. One big Caterpillar is still eating Milkweed.
They attach themselves to the top of the cage with silk and I relocate them with thread to a stick so we can better watch them. We will have Monarch Butterflies very soon.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
Neat how you can just relocate them like that. Wonder if they wake up and notice that something ain't quite right?
I am.very gentle moving them...do not want to damage.
