New stuff is crap and designed to fail, old stuff is better and built to last. What have you acquired or have you personally resurrected to save from the scrap heap?
Yeti what model is that. I had an old 50's era Milwaukee 660 that was similar, but enough different that I'm pretty sure it isn't one of them. Can't zoom enough to read the plate.

Somewhere in back I have a few of the "Buck Rogers" type power hand tools of the 50's. I keep them around to remember what they looked like new.
Anything past 1970, 75 that is electric is a disposable POS in comparison. All power tools today are doomed to fail within 5 years or so. Most are only guaranteed 90 days as proof of that.
My favorite are those stamped for 110V, in other words, very old. 115V came along in the 40's I believe. Here's the label on the saw. The really old B&D appeal to me, Porter Cable are my favorite and lately I've been shopping for vintage electric chainsaws.
Before me Dad and my Uncle were big Milwaukee users, and I rolled into them myself once I started buying tools for work. Used to be routers were Porter Cable, and a rare DeWalt. I need to find where my smallish pile of oldies is hiding, and post a few pics.
That looks like a blast from the past. Isn't that somewhere around 75, Z750? That bumblebee paint scheme was classic, mine had the red you showed as before.

Yeah this was k it sold in Japan since the Japanese couldn’t have anything above 750 back then this is the little brother of the Z1 which was a 900 cc sold to USA and other parts of the world so the Japanese was that ain’t fair hahah
This is my early 40’s WT 16” BS. It’s hard to say I refurbed it, more like cleaned it up thoroughly.
I’m the third owner. Got it from my FIL, who bought it from the guy who used it in a shop producing government goods during WWII in the SF Bay Area. Supposedly, the story goes that man helped unload it off the truck new to the shop! Cool story none the less.

Ryan, that's a good looking BS, I really want to find a Delta or a Delta/Rockwell to replace my 20" Grizzly. It works OK, just not my cup of tea anymore. I have a line on a 36" Tannewitz but I don't really have room for something that big.
Nice saw Ryan. They are climbing my list the more I see them popping up. Parks 18" is top of my list, the 16" WT, then a 20" Northfield, but I can't afford that one lol
