Egads! So many choices from so many eras. I am going with Eve of Destruction by Barry McQuire. It came out the year I was born. I just remember my much older siblings and neighborhood peers listening to it and talking about Nam in the early 1970’s.
Somehow it is fitting for the current state of the world.

Pottz, great song and memory. John Denver was my first concert when I was about 10. One of my older sisters was all about taking me to grownup-type things like that. She took me to the movie MASH too, pulled me out of there during the boob-shower scene. Apparently she didn’t want me to exposed to too much grownup stuff
great song tony. now if we wanna talk about hard rock guitar then might as well talk about one of the best ever kids. mr eddie VAN hale !!!!! his guitar speaks for itself !!!! https://youtu.be/RLsEvZgmRVA?si=3qYp3ZN4mIxOJ4UW
