Is there anywhere dedicated to support/bugs/issues/suggestions? I wasn't able to find one, so apologies if this should go elsewhere.

Anyone else running into any issues with windows 11 and Firefox? I recently "upgraded" to 11 to try it out, and with the latest Firefox I can't enter any text (or focus in to) for any of the text editors on threads, blogs, etc.

I just updated Firefox on Windows 11 and have the same problem as you describe.

It was fine before the Firefox update.

Good to know I'm at least not the only one lol. Hopefully it can get fixed soon, or maybe I'll just have to downgrade Firefox for now if it bugs me enough to be stuck on my phone or tablet

Weird.  I'm using Edge to write this, and it's obviously working!

It looks like there are other problems with the latest Firefox and this site.  I was on this page and clicked "follow replies".  I got a "not authorized" error and a messed-up page with the home page superimposed.  Works fine with Edge.

What version of Firefox are do you have? FF is currently working for me but it looks like there is a new release queued up.

I was upgraded to Win11 in January, without my consent I might add, and I made the mistake of not undoing it before the 30 day roll back period.  After 30 days, you cannot roll back to Win10 without a clean install.  🤬  My PC went from literally (and I do mean literally) booting up AND opening a web browser in less than 10 seconds to a couple of minutes.  BTW, the 10 seconds included time for me to type in a pass code.  I made the mistake of trying to figure out what conflicting driver or software was causing the problem instead of just rolling back and did not realize that after 30 days you are stuck.  I never found a problem and for a while I suspected a virus or other malware but found nothing. The boot up has improved over time, though not to the 10 mark, but occasionally I still get a long boot up.  I am once again thinking about a clean installation of Win10 but making sure everything is backed up and reinstalling any software is a PITA.  In hindsight, I wish that I had simply rolled back to Win 10, immediately.

For Firefox I'm on 115.0.  What's interesting is my Edge Version  of 114.0.1823.67 is working.

I cloned my windows 10 boot drive to another SSD before I installed 11 (I did a clean install).  I'm with you though, that reinstalling everything is a paint.  I just did it with windows 10 not too long ago (about a month), as I was chasing some bluescreen issues (didn't fix it).  I'm mostly fine with windows 11, I'm just not a huge fan of the new Mac like task bar now.  I'm a vertical task bar and individual icons (with text) for each instance of an application like file explorer, but I guess it's not the end of the world

I can confirm that on FF 115, the text editor is not working. Seems like FF broke the Internet 🙈

Got a clue already, will keep working on fix tomorrow.
Thanks for report.

The same here.

Looks like am on 114.0.2 of FF but checking made it download a new version so that might mess me up once I restart it.
It has taken me a while to get used to the 11 taskbar.  It just seems like change for the sake of change.  Didn't really make it easier to use.

Chrome works.

FF is FU'd.

EDGE works.

Opera (that dark horse) works.

Totally agree with this. All along FF has been an up and down browser, it is decidedly down these last 2 years IMHO. For just online I had used Opera for several years, almost as fast as the spy machine Goofle, and has a lot more user friendly features. UNTIL just lately, and they have gone all in on this IA AI crap, and have added more hugs and kisses BS than I can cope with. So I am currently using Brave.

But about your issue with 11, Opera, Edge, and Brave don't have it. Couldn't tell you about Goofle, haven't used that crap for a long time. I really like some privacy. Of the 3 Brave is the slowest by far, but it is secure, and privacy minded, very stable for me on several Win 10, and 2 Win 11 machines. Plus I like their news feed better than the rest. It is actually varied news, not just all Lib, or Cons based. The other 2 are within a step in speed of Goofle, and both are far richer experiences, unless you like being the item on the petri dish.
