got this accessory recommendation for my porter cable 4216 dovetail jig from fellow good friend and craftisian little black duck. as soon as i checked it out i ordered it. after the first test of the router jig (i did a review on the porter cable jig also) i knew i needed some type of dust collection, everyone knows the dust created routing. this was an easy to setup jig that not only collects about 90 percent of the dust but also creates a great support for the router.the jig just stays attached to the dovetail jig so their is no setup to do each time. im very happy with the jig and this dust collector and highly recommend the two together.

I have a similar one for my Leigh jig and the support is great but I do not use the dust part.
I have this model for my PC jig and one for my Leigh D4.  Both work well for support and dust.  Dovetail jigs make a nasty mess, and most of it is plastered to your torso.  These are a total game changer.

Might have been.  I love that thing.  Regarding the one for the Leigh jig, I bought the D4 back around 2000.  I hated using it because it made such a mess.

Fast forward to when I got the PC version.  I kept intending to order the one for the Leigh, but never got around to it.  Then one day I was in the back room at Woodcraft talking to the owner and looked over and saw a bunch of Leigh boxes on a shelf, and the one for the D4 was among them.  I took it home that day.

Funny, I asked him why that stuff wasn't out front and he said it just takes up space and doesn't sell.  He said later he wound up dumping that remaining stuff on eBay.

I have the version for the Omni Jig from Porter Cable and love it.  Unfortunatly they no longer make the Omni Jig or attachments.  to bad it is a very good system.
