Pencils and 6” stew rules.
I bought 100 mechanical penciled on eBay and have little tubs of them all over the shop. I bought a half dozen steel rules from Taylor Tools when they had a bunch of ‘seconds’ and spread those out all over.
I did such a good job spreading stuff out that I forget to even reach into my apron for either…and end up walking to the nearest repository to grab one, or both, while wearing my apron 🤦🏼♂️. Oh well, at least they’re nearby…
