Can't go wrong with myrtlewood!
Nice simple turning Pottz. Those are always a fun project to make, never thought about putting the pads on the bottom.

Nice coaster set, I like how you did the feet.
Your girl friend made the finish?
(I'm on a roll today,  even if I'm the only one getting the jokes)

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Nice work with that California Bay Laurel....I don't think you can call it Myrtle wood in So. Calif. That's an Oregon copy write.....LOL

Nice addition of the cork liner. I have used self sticking felt but cork would be much better. The felt does work well on the bottom and might be easier to put on than the buttons?

bent- yeah your on a roll alright ! is that why theres butter on your pants ! 😁

les- hey buddy glad you finally made it to a real woodworking forum. your gonna love it here.this place is the way that "other" forum was and should be. oh you can say lumber jocks here and not get arrested,no sheriff john running around scolding you and removing your posts or whole threads. martin the owner and debbiep who helps him do a great job. he actually listens and makes improvement rather than phony excuses you get over there. well enjoy the forum my friend.
