I saw some methods of concentric drilling dowel, ...just a distraction. It looked like a challenge, so I tried 1 drilled a 25mm hole in a stringer. sawed a clamp relief to hold it from spinning out Swapped out for a 22mm forstner ensured it was still concentric. And amazingly enough it worked who would have believed it. ...now back to the Credenza!
No reason that wouldn't work. Now I can make my own bronze bushings. I just repaired a gate hinge by clamping the loop for the hinge pin in my vice. If I welded that loop, I could put in a bronze bushing and never have to oil it again.
