A bit of an embrassing blunder

I logged in today and was surprised to see Bob Puttman shown in Members Spotlight

A bit of an Opps to say the least.
Martin/Debbie ...

Regards Rob

his projects will always be here, the spotlight is random and he just happened to be the one at that time.

hWait there just one minute.
If what you say is true, ...and I have no doubts to your knowledgeable credibility is accurate

I might suggest the following"-

1. The spotlight (and a great tool) maybe and just maybe it be recoded to recognise members we have lost, (passed on ,died)
2 I fully agree with the retention aspects of Bob's projects, along with others that knew and knew of him.
3. However it would be remiss of me to the ensure his talents and sense of humour lives on
4. So to show respect and educate any new members I submit the following.

Vale Grizzman  !!

Regards Rob

Ahhh, I know grizzman but not Bob Puttman.
he is in our memorial and will live on here till this forum fades away !

Memorial? memorial  here you say, pray tell where I can find such a excellent tribute.
Its nice to know one actually exists, as we all don't live forever (except maybe LBD)
I scrolled across the home page but found zip.

Look under the Members tab and then there is an In Memorium section
i fought for a long time on lj's to get it back but never got more than excuses. i asked martin if he would create one and jumped on it right away. the difference between a caring single owner and a heartless corporation only caring about profit !

I still miss Bob. He was a good friend and a really nice guy.🥲

The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

OK thanks to BB1 I went looking for this Members Tab
I could not find a Members Tab anywhere, so knowing it was there somewhere I did a magnifying Glass search
Bingo I found the "Members in a vertical list amongst the bottom of the page.
Within members heading I found the  In Memorium section, ... lo and behold somebody say Hallelujah there was Grizzman!

Now without being too pedantic how come Mudflap has not got a image?

P.S.
Along with Pottzy I also attempted to have past members recognised in the other site as well
In fact Jim Jakosh and I both attempted to get a picture added, Jim even went to the effort to obtain a picture selected from his wife, ... however and as with Pottzy all to no avail. ( that was after they even did recognised there was a bus fatality)

Well done Pottzy and Martin.
