MacBeath is a chain. They sell hardwood lumber, and other things associated with fine furniture (including tools, both hand and power).

I buy lumber from them and in this series I will be documenting the strange and wonderful things I find there.

My grandfather used to buy wood from MacBeath, so had my dad, and now so do I. If you have never been, I recommend exploring what the store has to offer.
