Taking care of the other details now that the main assembly is complete.
Added the binding at the soundboard. Started out as 1 x 5mm Black Walnut. after installation and sanding, the binding is about 0.7 x 4mm.
Fabricated the fretboard from Black Walnut and stuffed it with .040 x .080 fretwire from StewMac. (#0147). Finished the fretboard with Watco Danish Oil. Glued the fretboard to the neck and did the final neck shaping.
Made a template on the laser for the nut and cut the nut out of some scrap ebony (at $400/bdft, is there really such a thing as "scrap ebony"?). That's it for now. next is the preliminary setup to determine the nut and bridge height.
