How to clean louver doors permamently

I have two fixed half height louver /slat/Plantation Shutters in one of my bedrooms, the bane of my cleaning regime if I ever saw one.
Constant dust collectors and almost impossible for me to clean effectively.
Not to be out done I came up with a brilliant idea to remove the louvers and fit two plain plywood sections instead.

I am not sure how old they are but it was time to go.

So I took one off and took it down stairs for a "shower"

A fairly simple operation set up the table saw and reverse ZCI it onto the rotating blade and cut the louvers free leaving a frame to work on.

setting it up on the beaded edge should do the trick

seemed to work OK

Lifted it off to do the other side.
and this happened.

A little disappointing, but  I knew what the next step would be.

so looks like a honing up on making frames is next!

Oh I wonder if this is a Festool Domino?

I better lodge a ticket with LBD to check!

Now I wonder if I can beat Renners to the punch on a couple of miniature windows?

Stand by for two new doors in the wings berkurk berkurk !

That’ll do it!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Luckily for you, that's all you get for lifting... I normally get arrested!

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

So what was the answer to my ticket?

Couldn't be a domino... would not have come undone... however a Hitachi guard of honour is a fitting eulogy... should have hired them for the nightie... and those thongs... yowza, yowza!

[EDIT]:- Oh, oh, with the patterns facing the same way, how do you know which foot... oops, mentioned foot... bloody imperial, not surprised with confusion.

1. Thanks for the feed back I wondered myself it it could be possible.
Maybe a Mathias Panta Router at work?
2. Oh good ID on the battered drills well done! ... oh wait its on the battery pack !
3. Now as for the pattern  well spotted I would never have never realised its just a big (toe) guess

Damn RC, when have you started to take me seriously... Of course it can be Dominoed...  bloody well, Dominoed... can be bi'd, tri'd and kinky foursommed, using the small 4mm Dominos.

Thought you were questioning if THAT join was Dominoed... if Domino was used it would never come apart... well maybe if it was done with a Bos¢h poɯᴉuo!

It wasn't the question of if it could but,  more had it been,  as I had never seen a Festool domino naked or in the raw before, ...it just looked like one that was all!
I was skeptical  but thought it best to ask the Oracle.

hey do you know anything about linking?

Regards Rob

Highlight a word to act as the anchor, touch the linked chain icon near the ‘TT’ icon, it’ll open a field. Enter the page url into the field and you’re done.

Is the tenon glued in? From the photo,

doesn't appear to be... If there is a trace of a glue line around it's base then it most likely Dominoed, otherwise routed (perhaps a Leigh FMT by a beginner... as they should not separate either.

You did the right thing sawing through those plantation shutters, they are horrible to make, paint and clean. Your new doors are a big improvement.
