Followed from another forum
Hi all. I went to a former forum after a few months offline looking for the current swap and discovered all the folks I learned from knew were missing (and no swaps). Fortunately, Mosquito hooked me up and here I am.
Restarting seme woodworking again after a fairly awful summer. I may upload my old projects here as I like to keep them in one place. Not sure yet. I will explore the forums, learn the site and see what happens.

It might take a little to get used to the site but it's easy to find your way around. Bring all your projects over and leave that other place in the sunset.
It's similar to the style of pre-migration LJ, but with nicely expanded topics (Metalwork and Leatherwork) which I really like. Also, one of the early appeals of LJ, to me, was the front and center project photos on the home page. You could go down so many rabbit holes browsing the projects. That sucked me into the community, which was a great learning experience.
Some of the projects here are mind blowing. Many talented people on here
steven welcome to what lj's used to be. this is wood heaven man. like corelz said move everything over here. your work belongs where real woodworkers will appreciate it best. you need help just ask. this site is pretty easy to navigate once you get used to it. one tip, when you wanna follow a thread click on follow comments at the top right, that way when you go back you dont scroll trough hundreds of comments. enjoy.

Welcome Steven. A good place, with plenty of talented people ready to share what they know, just ask. Finding your way around is pretty straight forward, but ask if you get stuck. After the "community" got sucked out of the other place, it seemed to relocate here. Here I don't see the owner trying to fix stuff that isn't broken, just adding some things folks are asking to be added. Happy place to be. :-)
I have followed several projects down rabbit holes. Some really nice stuff here. Very fun. Need to start tracking down some of my previous follows. I think I will repost my old projects over here.
please we'd love to see what youve done. i moved almost 90 projects here myself. i just wanted everything ive done off that wasteland. and after martin setup the review forum i moved all those here also.
