IiGaging Hook Rule
I used this rule several times this morning, and then read today's ad from Woodcraft, and thought about just how handy this rule can be, and how much I use it. Makes me think I need a second one,one for each bench.
It eliminates trying to align the end with the edge of the workpiece.
The best part is that it is the easiest to read of all my rules....by far.

I have a woodpeckers rule with the hook add on. It comes in handy.

An old friend, and owner of The Craftsmans Gallery, Lewis Stepp. He has sold Iigaging products for a lot of years, usually beats most other sellers on price. He's in Cinci. At Chips Fly
Like me he's getting to be an old fart, and is cutting back, but still has most of the lines of tools he always has, just not their full line anymore. I like what he calls the "Bench Squares" they are a 45/90 square with a foot to lock it onto the edge of your stock. I like them in use more than the inline rules take a look at them too. I don't get squat for saying this, Lewis is just a good guy, and I am a satisfied customer, so if I can do him a solid I do.
