re: 10 inch bandsaw

Barb, I’ve got that exact saw. As long as you use it within spec and don’t try to put too big a blade on it, it works great! I haven’t had any issue with it. When it starts to cut a little wonky, it’s always been an issue of the blade dulling. 

One thing I’ve learned with bandsaws: blades don’t last anywhere near as long as you think they should. Find a place you like (sawblades.com is good) and buy a couple blades, and make sure you understand what blade configuration you’re buying and why. 

I don’t think you can go wrong with the Rikon in its price bracket.
