I know priorities might have changed for some over the past 10 years and some folks might actually have gotten the chance to build what they've wanted.  I'm still honing in on what I want and bigger is always the answer!  With warmer weather upon us in the the upstate, I can finally wrap up the exterior of my shop and start on the mezzanine inside.  This will give me another 140 sqft just for storage and make accessing the attic a bit easier but with 78" to the bottom of the joists, it'll only have 58" of height "upstairs" so standing ain't happening.  As I can still adjust, I'm wondering if 78" below will be enough as I'm 6'3" with shoes on.  This will be full width and only 9' of the 21.5' length so most area will still have 12' to the bottom of the attic joists.  Access to the "upstairs" will be infrequent and I had a stair/ladder design in mind but then saw this and I think it probably needs to happen for a cool factor if nothing else.
