new"Dimensional lumber" would be like a 2 x 4 which is only 1 1/2" thick.
1.7" cutting through 2" doesn't make sense to me.... or is it that bloody Imperial black box BS?
And yazall wonder why I have a bitch about imperial...
In metric land(s) we all speak English... even Dutchy speaks better (English).
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
