Nice one Pottz. I used to see those used wine & whiskey barrels in the big box stores. 

I think most are now shipped to Ireland and Scotland. 90% of Scotch and Irish whiskey are made  in used Bourbon barrels and now their making whiskey in wine barrels. 

According to law whiskey can’t be called bourbon if it’s made in a used barrels. 

Maybe that’s  why Scotch and Irish whiskey are so good. Their flavored with great American Bourbon. Sloppy seconds? I’d rather drink Bourbon.
