I am a design draftsman, worked for the same company going on 39 years. Approaching retirement in 4 to 5 years. I have been building up my tools for the last few years. Big items are table saw, band saw, bench top drill press, 10" miter saw, desktop sander. Just got a electric hand planer. Looking at a router next. Either buy a table or build one for it.
Things i have made in the past, A-Frame swing. (2) 4 person swing,. Ramp for wife to use instead of stairs. Knee problems. Built a 12' x 12' building for hot tub. Started to add insulation to garage, helps my small wood stove to heat it.
