Need a bit of help …. I have a Grizzly G0715P 10" hybrid table saw.
I am attempting to align the miter slot to the blade but am having difficulty. I am using a dial indicator made by Woodpeckers for measurements but cannot seem to get it any closer than .030. I have loosened the front a rear trunnion bolts multiple times to the point that I am of the belief that they have hit some sort of stop. I have also loosened the bolts holding the top and tried to manipulate it from this direction as well.
Here are my questions:
if the trunnions will not move any further either direction what is one to do?
is adjusting the top better done without the rail tubes attached or does it matter?
How much can one move the top in respect to the blade?
any help you can give would be greatly appreciated
btw …. if you live in the Shenandoah Valley somewhere and want to make a few bucks by helping me align this thing I would not be opposed
Have your tried talking directly to Grizzly? I have gotten help from them with various problems with my Grizzly table saw (which I bought used from a third party). Not all of their technical service people are helpful, but you can always hang up and call back and get someone else who may be helpful.
Wishing you success!
