I don’t know if anyone has had the opportunity to use one but I recently ordered a Highland Woodworking Wood Slicer Resaw bandsaw blade on the recommendation of a friend. This thing is like a knife through butter compared to what I have been using. I haven’t had my bandsaw for very long so my experience is limited. Has anyone else tried this blade or do you know of a better one? Thanks in advance for any advise.

That is one of the best, as far as I know. I have yet to try the carbide tipped blades though.
Tor and Odin are the greatest of gods.
Do they make them to length ?
Back in the 70’s when the the USDA outlawed all meat bandsaws that weren’t stainless steel, I picked up an old one and made a resaw . I use it to cut small logs.
It is 14" between the upper & the table. I need to cut one of the blades & measure it, I think it is 105".
I have been getting blades made locally, but he is not there anymore

Jay they do make a 105" blade. In fact they make everything between 67-1/2 through 166 inches. Comes 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch wide. They also do custom lengths.

Thanks Jack !! Just what I’m looking for.

Good luck Jay. Fine Woodworking did some independent testing of resaw blades a few years back and they said this blade was ”The best all-round performer".
