I used the toolbox drawer liner I bought at either Lowes or HD, I don't remember which, that is supposed to prevent rust. It's been 7 or 8 years at least and it gets pretty dang hot in my garage with no problems with the liner sticking to my tools. The only problem I have is that my drawer bottoms are Masonite and the liners slowly slide backwards a little each time I open or close the drawer and ends up getting bunched up against the back of the drawer. I've tried using some double sided tape to hold them in place but it eventually comes loose from the Masonite. I might have to try putting a coat of poly on the Masonite to see if that helps keep the tape in place. Either that or try some contact cement?
