Knotty Alder kitchen Cabinets and Black Walnut live edge counter top
I enjoy working with Knotty Alder and I enjoy Black walnut even more.
I learned that even know Alder is fairly soft is sands and finishes very nicely, and if chosen correctly the knots stay in place as well.
This was a great project to work on. I ended up doing additional Alder cabinetry for a wine bar and Maple live edge benches and desk as well for this customer.
I made a cool Walnut slap floating shelf to support the sink in the bathroom. Please keep an eye out for the photo.
