Thanks everyone. Brian, the cross was done on our CNC. Design time was about 2 hours, cut time 3.2 hours. dremel, sand and finish around an hour. The stand was cut out on the band saw then edged on the router table.

Looks great. ..When carving I generally (but not always) like to let the wood dictate the piece but it would be fun to play with a cnc as they are so fast…and repetitive patterns are a chore to carve! What is the size?
