September will be a busy month for me, I’m in the midst of studying for a certification exam for work and I’m moving…so have a 1000sqft shop to dismantle and move and then set up again before I’ll be back to any woodworking!

What changes for me in September is that I’m back to teaching my community college woodworking class, I have many repeat students and I look forward to seeing them all again and finding out what great projects they have come up with for the fall term.

Well as long I have a breath in me and have wood and tools I will woodwork will have fall projects we are all brotherhood and sisterhood woodworkers have fun this fall Debbie

Back to school kind of slowed me down a bit.
I have to look at homework again :)
On the weekend we are back to running around for their extra activities. Oh well, the joy of parenting.

Back to school means a lot for me. I have worked for a local school district for the last 15 years. In the past few years I have seen the AG classes picking up and some wood working starting again in the schools. We can not forget the basics of life and the need to make things with our hands and minds.

I was chatting with someone yesterday, talking about how the beginning of the school year impacts us, even when we don’t have children in the home.
