re: Arm/Legs clamping jig

DrTebi - I did apply some packing tape to the cauls before the glue-up to avoid them being single-use only.  😄  I did discover what you describe about the minimal need for clamping.   Once the pieces were seated tightly in both directions, I backed-off the clamps and the joint didn't seem to shift at all.
