The more I think about this the more I see stuff to like.
I have several of the cheap versions, the ones with a blade cutter at the end of the arm that swings around under drill power.
It's difficult to control a drill at the low RPMs required.
This unit lets you push the cutter at an appropriate speed, no death-spike spinning around ready to take out anything that happens upon its path.
