re: Say What?

Nice to have y'all come along on this one. I've hit a wall (figuratively) with building drawers for the gable built in, but this distraction has me excited to hit the shop again.

I've not been taking pics like I've been known to, because I didn't intent to post it. But it's coming along pretty well so it gets a share here. We'll start with the simplest of drawings, a box, a sheet of plywood, and then see what happens from there. Gotta do some millwork that's needed on the top and in the recessed panels of the main body. May not hit a 100% reproduction, but it'll be darn close.

For example, there's no modern equivalent to two of the rail support pieces in this pic:

So far, had to buy two 2x4s for stock but otherwise it's all stuff I had on hand. I like that.
