I couldn't find the Conversation Section .  So I will try this.  Hope it gets to you.  Mike you were asking me about turning when there is a crack in a blank and while turning, what do I do to prevent the the  project exploding and sending pieces of wood flying all over the Shop......Yes I have had lots of fun with that happening....So I always wear both Eye Protection and a Face Shield.....Just in case...
But to answer your question....No, I haven't filled any cracks with glue or any other fillers.  But I think I will look in to doing that in the future.
Every time I think I am learning something, I find I have a long way to go on this wood turning journey.  But it is a most enjoyable journey.
